I have appreciated Cheryl’s books over the years and this one was no different. Sometimes when we are floundering it’s nice to be reminded we are not alone. That is what Cheryl shares in Waking Up in Winter. Her own journey and discoveries. While each of our paths may look different, there is the underlying thread that I’m sure many of us can relate too as we move through midlife… what really matters.
I enjoy reading books where I get to observe how others process challenging times. I didn’t walk away with anything new yet I did walk away going, “phew, I am not alone in this reevaluating life” phase. For that I am grateful.
